Eagle River Presbyterian Church traces it roots to the late 1800’s as the first church to be chartered in Eagle County, Colorado. Now in its third location, Avon 10 minutes west of Vail and at the base of Beaver Creek Resort, we are home to a growing congregation of about 140 members. As with any church in a resort town, we have many one-time visitors, seasonal visitors and affiliate members. Ours is a vibrant congregation whose members have taken on a variety of ministry opportunities ranging from international mission to serving a weekly meal. Our building provides low rent space for non-profits, meeting space for recovery and other support groups, as well as our many small group ministries. Ours is a congregation that strives to take seriously Christ’s commandment to walk a mile with a neighbor.
We are offering a nine to fourteen month internship beginning in the summer of 2012 with the purpose of providing an opportunity to participate in ministries that will develop the intern’s vocation and to expand the ministry of our growing church.
